WINS Competition Teams compete in the Atlantic Council’s Cyber 9/12 Competition (we’re the reigning National Champion!).
Women belong where decisions are made.
Starting Stanford's first all girl's cyber-policy team this year, we never imagined bringing home the National title. Both of us (Divya & Kyla), aim to carry forth this momentum by forging an entire community of young women excited about the critical issues of National Security, and confident and prepared to face the threats of our future. We recognize the barriers to entry for women in NatSec--be it historical underrepresentation, the overwhelming nature of jargon/acronyms, and limited funding for training and support. However, with the start of WINS, we hope to empower and train young women to get us where we need to be--inside boardrooms, battle-bridges, Senate chambers, and more.
Yours in changemaking,
Kyla & Divya
